In the Sixties I taught art at Jamaica Jewish Center and Utopia Jewish Center in Queens, NY.

(For a short while I was a member at Hillcrest Jewish Center so that I could use their swimming pool.)

I taught art at other secular children's camps in between HS and college.

Around that time I was also hired to work at a Catskills Hotel. I was never a guest in the Catskills until the  Nineties when I participated in Elat Chayyim, Jewish Renewal adult spiritual camp.
